We are a small assisted living community by design. With only 24 residents at Old Tomoka Road and up to 35 at Forest Court, our caregivers know every resident personally, their routines, preferences, and what brings them comfort.
We call our approach “The Sarah House Way,” a care philosophy that promotes socialization, encourages independence, and gives every resident a sense of life purpose by keeping them interested and involved in daily life. Our caregivers are trained to recognize the value of the human spirit and to help each resident live a happier, more content life. Families stay involved through activities like planting flowers and decorating for the holidays. Our management team, including facility contact Selena Fleetwood, maintains a hands-on presence at both locations.

Each of our assisted living Ormond Beach Florida locations has a professional chef who cooks from scratch daily. We purchase fresh groceries every day, and our residents choose what they want to eat. Sleeping in and having breakfast after 9 AM is perfectly fine, and a sandwich at 10:30 PM is gladly prepared by our caregivers. We recognize that everyone has different eating habits, and we make every effort to conform to each resident’s individual needs.
Our caregivers also offer hydration and healthy snacks throughout the day. The nutritional and hydration status of every resident is a top priority, and our team is trained to observe any changes in their behavior or mental status and to ensure adequate hydration and proper nutrition for all residents based on their needs.
